Trompe l'oeil means "fool the eye". You can produce a sham effect for the sake of your child (and impress your friends) using simple techniques. You do not have to be a great artist to get this simple. As long as you can hold a brush, you can do that.
The effect is achieved by creating false shadows behind the simple forms. Forms appeared to be hovering over the wall. Follow the instructions and apply the technique to all the shapes you want, but if you are not a great artist, keep it simple. Do not try to be too clever with your forms. The simple design will always work the best.
* Acryl paint for walls
* Tracing paper
* Brushes (various sizes)
* Access to a photocopier (optional)
* Colored pencils or crayons
* Low-tac tape
